I’ve been wrestling (no pun intended) with the thought of how I wanted to launch my new brand. One that encompasses everything I want to cover without feeling like I will alienate my audience.

GAMING

I have been a gamer for 9 console generations. I have worked in the industry and saw what it was like from the inside. I understand games and why people play them. Even when I am not a fan of the genre! It is important to understand that everyone has their own biases and preferences, but you can also see the value in things that don’t necessarily appeal to you. Major outlets make this mistake often. They have people who hate certain genres or brands reviewing those and not doing it from a neutral standpoint while acknowledging their own preferences. You won’t get that here.

WRESTLING

Yes, I own WrestlingMemes.com. How will wrestling coverage on Easy Marks be different? Easy Marks wrestling coverage will be more news, comedy and shows. WrestlingMemes is more about having a longer more thought-out discussion on a wrestling topic. Yea I know it seems to contradict; I’m still working on what this will fully evolve into. Podcast, videos and skits will be under the Easy Marks brand. We will cover all wrestling.

POP CULTURE

The final piece. How can I talk about Batman, Doctor Who or Limp Bizkit if I didn’t have this category? I would need film/tv, comics and music sections. Nope, I am going for the all-encompassing Pop Culture topic. This is the one category that will also have content created by additional members. I will expand on this in the future.

I’m excited! I have been soft launching my brand for the last 25 years. I’ve finally settled on where I want to stand in the industry and understand what is ahead of me. I hope you join me in this journey!
